fantastic location and attentive staff

i found the location prime. powell street cable car starting point was just down the road. cable car stops were in front of the hotel. chinatown and the ferry building were within walkable distance. the beds had super comfy pillows, and i had a choice of pillows.
The room's soundproofing was not very good. I could hear noises from the hallway at times.

The excessive heating in my room was a significant problem. Despite repeated requests, staff failed to fix it, suggesting I open the windows instead. I also found a cockroach in the room. It indicated poor pest control.

The location provided easy access to public transportation. The cable car was very close. I also appreciated the complimentary coffee offered in the lobby. I found fresh cookies and water readily available.
My room was rather small. Suitcase storage proved difficult. The room faced the back, and external noises were noticeable. The lack of effective air conditioning made the room too warm for comfort.
